If you’re anything like me, you have tons of meaningless photos occupying your phone's precious memory; even weirder, you know they're meaningless, yet you decide to keep them anyway. Maybe it's because you have a subconscious sentimental attachment to pointless pictures, or maybe you're just lazy. In any case, reviewing and deleting your numerous albums is time consuming and painful. Having recognized this, a new application called Flic uses Tinder-like features to simplify photo storage.

Much like Tinder, Flic utilizes a swiping design, reflective of the popular "dating" app, to indicate personal preferences. If a user wants to keep a photo, he swipes rightward. Conversely, to delete photos, users simply swipe leftward. Furthermore, Flic has the ability to delete photos from the cloud (so you don't end up exposed like Kate Upton), as well as directly from one's phone. 

This app is incredibly helpful for those who have recently upgraded their iPhones to iOS 8. This is because the new operating system only allows users to browse photos and videos that have been taken within the last 30 days. To look through older photos, one must go to the "Moments" section within Apple's photo app, instead of iOS 7's prior Camera Roll feature.  

Again, like most popular apps, Flic exemplifies the increasingly popular "swiping" design trend, which can also be found within Jobr, a popular job-searching app. Tinder's friendly UI design has been copied by numerous applications and has become the most prominent application design on the App Store. As for Flic, the application is the first of its kind and is available for $.99.
